and it did. The day after first meeting the Clan, the house cat was taken to his new home. But there was a cat who did not approve of cats outside the Clan to join the Clan. The house cat started a fight with him, with the house cat winning. Therefore, the house cat is given his apprentice name. (Fortunately,) The former house cat got into no bounds of trouble, from giving some fresh–kill to a very old rogue, to meeting with a house cat friend named Smudge.
The best part is near the end, when the medicine cat is killed and a queen's kits is stolen, a majority of the Clan cats thought Yellowfang was responsible. However, it turned out that it was actually a different Clan that was responsible. At the end, the apprentice received his warrior name, and he just earned a new rival–the deputy(the deputy actually killed Redtail rather than Oakheart).
